Today, sustainability reporting is a means for corporates with global ambitions world over to demonstrate their ability to sustain the growth in business performances at the midst of various challenges.
At Larsen & Toubro, we call our CSR initiative as ‘Project Prithvi’, where we proactively inform the stakeholders, on our plans and measures to counter various business challenges in all the three tenets (i.e. Economic, Environment and Social) in order to sustain the growth and performance.
This report was created for the several investors who are keen to know about the Governance practices, Vision, Values, codes of Business conduct and Ethics so that they get a fair deal in all their transactions.
Our sustainability reports are based on the GRI framework and can be used to benchmark organizational performance with respect to laws, norms, codes, performance standards and voluntary initiatives. The credibility of the report contents was confirmed by the accredited agency, Ernst & Young.
This is the first ever-corporate sustainability report to be brought out by an Engineering and Construction Company in India. Mr. A. M. Naik, Chairman & Managing Director of L&T, released the report, which is rated A+. The report communicates L&T’s sustainability and performance to stakeholders and helps in benchmarking with those of our peers internationally.

I am an employee of L&T ECC div. I would like to take up a course on corporate sustainability report through ATL. The copy of CSR shall be useful in absorbing the course content more effectively.
