Middle East Mechanical Expo 2007 (MEMEC 2007), an event jointly organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Saudi Arabian Section) & Bahrain Society of Engineers was held in Gulf Convention Centre, Bahrain from 4 to 7 November 2007. L&T was one of the platinum sponsors of the event which witnessed the participation of 75 engineering companies from over 17 countries.

Valves Business Group projected its capabilities in manufacturing and marketing at the expo and displayed a 14-inch Class 600 Pipeline Ball Valve.

The expo, attended by a huge number of visitors from various departments of Aramco, Sabic, BAPCO, SECO etc., provided an opportunity to make contact with new customers, to understand their needs and also to understand the way the competitors are looking and preparing for the future business opportunities. This expo will definetly help us to gear up for the challenges, which accompany the opportunities that are already on the horizon.
