On 3rd Sep 2008, Mr.Vishal Mathur completed 25 years of long and meritorious service in L&T.

Vishal Mathur, a Chemical Engineer of 1979 batch, joined L&T in 1983 as branch sales engineer in Lucknow, he then moved on to head regional sales in Delhi and later assumed the role of a business development manager for valves business in Chennai.
In 1996, he joined our group company Audco India Limited to head its international sales operations for Middle East and Africa. During this tenure, he was instrumental in creating an extensive marketing network with significant number of distributors and agents and obtained approvals from major end users.
From Audco, he was then transferred back to L&T to handle business development and create a global marketing programme for a new line of light engineering goods like pipe fittings, flanges and valve related products besides identifying new growth areas. Recently he was deputed to China to oversee implementation of our greenfield manufacturing operation which includes ensuring product roll out and acceptance of the facilities by major clients.
